BEACHES OF BYRON
Clarkes (Clarks) Beach
Located between the very popular and crowded Main Beach and The tip of Main Beach The Pass sites Clarks Beach. North facing it misses most of the strong winterly weather patterns entering from the south and enjoys stunning conditions most of the year. Clarks beach is patrolled with an extra lifesaving team in the Summer.
The Pass
The Pass is the small gap between Fisherman’s Lookout and the main headland, it’s more a surf spot then an actual beach. It enjoys being Byron Bays and the regions premier surfing location. Waves have been know to peal off for hundreds of meters, it’s also a right hander that makes is easier for most surfers as they are not surfing on their backhand stance. You can also check the surf out from Fishermans lookout which is a small wooden platform.
